We’re now looking for a Google Ads Lead to take full strategic ownership of scaling Almedia's user acquisition to the next level. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader with a proven track record of leading and optimizing large-scale performance marketing operations across diverse channels, directly accountable for aggressive growth targets and multi-million dollar budgets. You'll be instrumental in maximizing our overall growth and driving significant daily ad spend, with Google Ads being a primary, high-impact channel.
What You'll DoDevelop & Own Growth Strategy: Design, define, and execute the overarching performance marketing strategy to achieve ambitious daily ad spend goals (e.g., targeting $100k+ USD/day), continually optimizing for user acquisition and Lifetime Value (LTV) across all relevant paid channels.
Lead Multi-Channel Execution: Direct and optimize high-budget user acquisition campaigns, with a core focus on Google Ads (Search, Display, Demand Gen/Discovery, App Campaigns, YouTube), while strategically integrating and optimizing performance across other diverse paid channels like Meta Ads, TikTok, and emerging ad networks.
Strategic Budget Allocation: Manage and optimize multi-million dollar performance marketing budgets, making data-driven decisions to strategically allocate spend across various channels and campaigns, ensuring optimal ROI and maximum scale. This includes full ownership over budget decisions, such as shifting spend to high-performers or pausing underperforming initiatives.
Identify & Launch New Channels: Proactively research, evaluate, and lead the successful launch of new user acquisition channels and platforms from scratch, expanding our reach to diverse audiences and target groups and fostering continuous growth.
Cross-Functional Growth Leadership: Collaborate at a strategic level with Product, Data, Engineering, and Creative teams to identify new growth levers, improve conversion funnels, and ensure cohesive campaign execution that aligns with broader business objectives.
Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Establish robust measurement frameworks, conduct deep-dive analyses on multi-channel performance, and provide executive-level reporting. You'll translate complex data into clear, strategic business insights that drive action and demonstrate accountability for aggressive growth targets.
Extensive Strategic Leadership: Senior-level experience (typically 7+ years) in performance marketing leadership, with a demonstrable track record of successfully managing and significantly scaling user acquisition budgets of $100k+ USD daily.
Multi-Channel Expertise: Deep expertise across a wide range of performance marketing channels including, but not limited to, Google Ads (Search, Display, Demand Gen, App Campaigns, YouTube), Meta Ads, and other App Install Networks. You understand their unique mechanics and optimization levers.
New Channel Development: Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and successfully launch new user acquisition channels from scratch, demonstrating strategic foresight and execution capability.
Exceptional Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Capable of dissecting complex performance data, building robust attribution models, and formulating high-impact, actionable growth strategies. You thrive on translating data into clear budget and strategic decisions.
Collaboration & Influence: Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders across various departments (Product, Data, Engineering, Creative) to drive shared growth objectives.
Industry Preference: Experience in the mobile app or gaming industry is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of user acquisition, retention, and monetization dynamics in that space.
