Job Overview:

As the

SVP Growth, Medical Communications, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth and strategic expansion within the medical communications space at Klick. Your role will focus on identifying, developing, and executing new opportunities that elevate Klick’s presence and expertise in medical communications across healthcare and life sciences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, science-driven communication solutions that align with client objectives. In addition, you will partner with Client Services Leadership to strengthen client relationships, expand existing accounts, and unlock new opportunities. Your ability to connect Klick’s medical communications capabilities with the evolving needs of the industry will be crucial to success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives for medical communications, ensuring alignment with client goals and market opportunities.

Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth by cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders in the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

Collaborate with CS Leadership on assigned accounts to expand Klick’s medical communications footprint and provide innovative solutions that enhance client value.

Develop tailored strategies to differentiate Klick’s medical communications offerings and position the company as a leader in the field.

Spearhead RFP responses and pitch efforts, ensuring proposals effectively communicate Klick’s value proposition and expertise in medical communications.

Foster strong collaboration with internal specialty teams, including MedComms, Operational Excellence, Technology, and Consulting, to drive integrated solutions for clients.

Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in medical communications, leveraging insights to inform business strategies.

Strategic client development, focusing on building long-term partnerships with new clients as well as expanding existing accounts to build a growing book of MedComms business across commercial (promo med-ed) and medical clients

Qualifications & Experience:

10+ years of experience in medical communications, healthcare consulting, or business development, with a strong background in life sciences or healthcare.

Proven track record of leading business growth initiatives and successfully expanding medical communications services within life sciences companies.

Expertise in scientific storytelling, medical strategy, and the development of innovative communication solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Strong relationship-building and client management skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Deep understanding of the evolving medical communications landscape, including regulatory considerations, publication planning, and omnichannel engagement.

Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and drive cross-functional synergy to achieve business objectives.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in global medical communications, scientific engagement, and digital transformation in the healthcare space.

Knowledge of medical education, scientific content development, stakeholder engagement (advisory boards, symposia, etc.), and publications.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the medical communications market.
