The QA Engineer will be responsible for owning and executing all test plans for Lone Wolf products, including feature testing, end-to-end testing, regression and smoke testing as needed. The QA Engineer will work with product owners and other customer-facing teams to define and review requirements for new features, enhancements, define the approach for comprehensive testing. The QA Engineer will recommend process improvements and tools to develop a highly-efficient, continuous integration development environment while working with the engineering and IT team to design and operate test environments, staging platforms, labs, configurations, etc.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • We are looking for a self-organized and result-oriented QA Engineer with a quality-oriented perspective who must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and sound independent decision making.
  • Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies and practices with a proven ability to efficiently write effective test cases that provide in depth coverage of functionality.
  • Experience in collaborating with product and engineering teams to understand product requirements to ensure that they are implemented correctly.
  • Performing all testing activities across one or more assigned projects, utilizing processes, methods, metrics and software that ensure the quality, reliability and systems safety and security.
  • Test approach defining will include decomposing the business and technical requirements into test case scenarios, defining test data requirements, managing test case creation, devising contingencies plans and other preparation activities.
  • KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Understand the interfacing applications, test environments and our tools and methodologies.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment with positive results.
  • Experience with UI and API automation using Selenium and Postman is not mandatory but will be considered a strong asset.
  • Strong communication skills, a passionate commitment to quality, and a collaborative, team-oriented working style
  • Experience with relational and non-relational database testing is a bonus.
  • API testing experience using Postman and Fiddler is ideal.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experiencewith industry-standard software testing tools such as the Zephyr, Postman, Fiddler and SoapUIetc.

  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
