IT Production Operations Specialist (Remote USA only)
- Responsibilities include receiving and logging calls, emails, and voicemails; troubleshooting end user incidents; fulfilling service requests; and providing proper escalation and follow-up on all issues for 2nd and 3rd level support. The Help Desk Specialist may be asked to provide documentation for problem solving measures on various applications.
- Previous experience as help desk specialist or in an IT related support role (2+ years with a degree or 5 years of experience without a degree)
- Demonstrate ability to perform in positions of responsibility
- Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and Windows 11
- Strong leadership, organizational, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to listen, work directly with staff, answer phones, document problems, and speak and write in terms easily understood.
- Aptitude for learning new software products and applying troubleshooting skills to assist callers.
- Able to work with minimal supervision as well as work in a team environment.
- Monitors and takes corrective actions to restore services in production operations within the following areas: Data Center Operations, Desktop Operations, Network Operations, Server and Storage Operations, Cloud Operations and LAN/ID Administration.
- Monitors system and application dashboards for anomalies as defined by the assigned IT Service Area.
- Understands and works on resolving problems in the areas monitored under the guidance of a Senior or Lead Operations Specialist.
- Fulfills services from the Service Catalog of the area(s) supported (Desktop, Server, ID Management etc.).
