Job Title: Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst
Department: Information Technology / Security
Reports To: IAM Manager / IT Security Director

- This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 position. We are not able to do 1099 or C2C.
- It is a fully remote role that will need to be based in the U.S.

Job Summary:
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the IAM team in the design, implementation, and management of identity and access management solutions. This role involves analyzing business requirements, developing IAM strategies, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. The IAM Business Analyst will work closely with IT, security, and business teams to enhance the security posture of the organization while ensuring seamless user access experiences.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to identity and access management.
- Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications for IAM solutions.
- IAM Solution Design and Implementation:
- Assist in the design and implementation of IAM solutions, including user provisioning, authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.
- Work with IT and security teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and applications.
- Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure IAM solutions comply with organizational security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IAM policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Project Management:
- Support IAM project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide support to end-users and stakeholders regarding IAM processes and tools.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to educate users on IAM best practices.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and analyze IAM processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and user experience.
About You
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in identity and access management, IT security, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with IAM tools and platforms (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, OneIdentity, Ping, Duo, Microsoft Azure AD).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Working Conditions:
- If local to Chicagoland, onsite Tuesday and Wednesday, otherwise fulltime remote.
- No Travel Required
