About The Role

The Business Analyst (Media & Marketing, Ecommerce) role at Brillio is a strategic position within the Vertical team, focused on collaborating with clients to develop and execute digital strategies that deliver measurable value. This role involves acting as a vital liaison between stakeholders, product users, and development teams to facilitate requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design. The Business Analyst will work primarily with marketing, eCommerce, and data analytics teams to analyze complex business needs, document requirements, and translate them into actionable deliverables. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in media, marketing technology, and agile methodologies, with a proven ability to manage multiple work streams efficiently. This position offers a flexible remote work environment with an onsite presence in Woodland Hills, CA, 2-3 days a week.

    Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within media, marketing, or ecommerce sectors
  • Domain knowledge of marketing, CRM, or advertising technologies and concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Agile software development practices
  • Proficiency in writing user stories, leading user interviews, and capturing functional requirements using Jira and Confluence
  • Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in deliverables
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively address challenges
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Nice to have: Experience with Figma, Photoshop, SQL, REST and GQL APIs, Postman, Google Analytics, and mobile/browser testing
    Responsibilities
  • Organize, prepare, and lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Document and translate complex business problems into clear business requirements and functional technical solutions
  • Create various documentation artifacts such as User Stories, PRDs, Wireframes, User Journey Maps, and System Requirements
  • Translate requirements into detailed JIRA tickets, including Epics, User Stories, and Tasks, with well-defined Acceptance Criteria
  • Validate requirements through prototyping, wireframing, and other methods to ensure feasibility and alignment with customer needs
  • Ensure all requirements are testable and oversee the testing process for quality assurance
  • Maintain a requirements traceability matrix to verify that all specifications are met in the final product
  • Manage multiple work streams, assess priorities, and deliver accurate and complete work within deadlines
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
