Short-Form Video Content Creator for Veterinary Hospital (Website & Social) Needed
Project Description:
We are a highly recognized emergency and specialty veterinary hospital looking for a creative, detail-oriented video editor to produce and support us with engaging, short-form video content for our veterinary website and social media platforms (Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube).
Our local marketing lead will provide raw footage, provide direction on our goal(s), guide on theme, platform and copy – all we need from you is your subject matter expertise to edit and format a beautiful, professional end result for us.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience creating modern, scroll-stopping videos for brands or businesses, ideally in pet care, or health care service industries.
- Mastery of current short-form trends: quick cuts, dynamic transitions, kinetic text, sound syncing, and platform-specific best practices.
- Strong storytelling skills: Able to convey warmth, trust, and professionalism in 15–60 second videos upwards to 90-120 seconds (for website informational videos on surgeries, etc.)
- High attention to detail: you catch inconsistencies in footage, colors, or messaging.
- Experience editing both raw content (that we film) and/or any existing B roll assets (images, voiceovers, stock clips, etc.)
- Able to receive feedback to maintain highest level of medical trust & credibility
Deliverables:
- 2-3+ short-form videos per month
- Various aspect ratios optimized for each platform
- Quick turnaround on edits (within 3–5 days)
- Occasional thumbnail designs and captions
Nice to Have:
- Background in working with veterinary, medical, or pet care clients
- Ability to suggest video ideas based on industry trends and content calendaring
- Animation or light motion graphics experience a plus
