Blazer Jobs is seeking multiple Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support students in a school-based setting located in Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidates will contribute to a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment by delivering essential services aligned with the needs of the district and its students. This position is for the 2025–2026 School Year.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and emergency medical care to students as directed by nursing staff or medical plans.
- Monitor and document student health concerns, including chronic conditions and injuries.
- Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records in compliance with legal and district guidelines.
- Support a healthy and inclusive school environment through daily health services and communication with staff and families.
(Responsibilities may vary depending on assignment within the district.)
- Requirements:
- Active Kansas LPN license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
