About the Role As a Senior NatCat Parametric Underwriter, you'll be at the forefront of Swiss Re's parametric insurance evolution, combining technical expertise with commercial acumen to develop, underwrite, and market parametric solutions for natural catastrophe risks globally. This role has a flexibie location, so it can be based in: Mumbai, India; Singapore, Singapore; Sao Paulo, Brasil; Zurich, Switzerland; or Mexico City, Mexico. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop Swiss Re's NatCat parametric portfolio with a focus on sustainable growth Underwrite and price parametric covers for earthquake, tropical cyclone, and flood risks Structure and cost sophisticated weather and remote sensing parametric solutions Market and sell Swiss Re NatCat parametric products to clients and brokers Engage with treaty clients and brokers to understand their needs and tailor solutions Drive product development and standardization of Swiss Re's parametric product offerings in collaboration with peers in cat modeling. Enhance tools and capabilities by developing parametric tools, conducting trainings, and facilitating global adoption Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a proactive and transparent manner About the Team The Parametric Center of Excellence operates within Global Specialty – Agriculture & Parametric and is embedded in the P&C Reinsurance Business Units.
