Job Description:
The Sr. Workday Integration Lead will be a member of the technology Workday sustainment team and partner with Workday administrators, functional leads and global process owners (GPOs) to maximizes Ryder’s Workday investment. They are responsible for architecting, researching, designing, implementing, and supporting Workday integration solutions with 3rd party vendors and internal systems. They will focus heavily on the development and maintenance of integrations using Workday’s core tools (Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services, Enterprise Interface Builder/EIB) as well as the development of advance reports (RaaS) and complex BIRT reports. They will be responsible for adhering to approved design patterns; following relevant architectural, data, and security policies; and collaborating with internal technology teams to deploy, schedule and monitor integrations. This role will support ongoing enhancements, changes, additions, and updates to the Workday platform and overall ERP solution. Experience with Financial and HR integrations is expected.

They have an expert-level technical and cross-functional proficiency in Workday with a deep architectural understanding and solid Finance and HR business acumen. They have a profound grasp of Workday leading practices and proven track record translating business requirements into well architected Workday Integration solutions that best leverage the platform. The Sr. Workday Integration Lead has experience integrating Workday with enterprise middleware technologies and building extendable/reusable solutions in order to reduce the maintenance and cost of an integration portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work Closely with Lead Enterprise Integration Architect to Create governing principles to guide IA decision making across the organization
Collaborate with the creation or evolution of the Integration Architecture (IA). Understand, advocate and support the enterprise’s integration strategy. Promote the EA process, outcomes and results to the organization, including the enterprise’s IT and business leaders
Ensure that the optimal governance structure and compliance activities (such as handling waivers) are associated with EA compliance. Oversee the evaluation and selection of IA standards
Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy), as well as change requirements in other architecture viewpoints to derive the integration architecture future state
Collaborate/Lead the analysis of the current integration architecture environment to detect critical deficiencies, recommend and implement solutions for improvement
Provide guidance to development teams on which tools, frameworks and libraries to use for development. Consult and work with Solution Architects in the development of holistic designs
Oversee the documentation of all integration architecture design and analysis work
Support Enterprise Architecture services to the business before and during project delivery
Assess and communicate the value of the enterprise integration architecture
Aid in the development of patterns with required traceability. Oversee IA implementation and ongoing refinement activities

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology or a relevant degree.
Master's degree Master's degree MBA or Master’s degree preferred preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Eight (8) years or more experience in Software Development Life Cycle
Six (6) years or more experience in leading software development teams
Six (6) years or more experience as a solution and/or enterprise architect
Six (6) years or more experience in creating and defining new architectural models and explaining complex problems and situations
Six (6) years or more experience in using Enterprise Application Integration tools
