Social Media Specialist
This is a remote position.
Schedule :Monday to Friday
20 hours per week, flexible within business hours
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re on the lookout for a Social Media Specialist with a strategic mindset and a strong marketing foundation. This is not a content creation role—your mission is to drive platform growth, inbound leads, and brand alignment by executing smart, insight-driven social strategies across multiple channels.
You’ll manage and curate our social presence using content we provide or source from partners. Your primary focus will be on increasing visibility, engagement, and performance through planning, reporting, and proactive outreach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a cross-platform social media strategy (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, etc.) with a focus on growth and lead generation.
- Curate and manage social content calendars using provided or repurposed content, ensuring alignment with each brand’s tone, timing, and goals.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments and inquiries, and conduct targeted outbound engagement with prospects, clients, and industry partners.
- Produce regular performance reports with clear benchmarks, insights, and recommendations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of each brand and ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
- Leverage AI tools and social automation platforms to streamline scheduling, engagement, and targeting.
- You’ll be working across multiple brands that we represent, so it’s essential that you can identify and adapt to the nuances between different target demographics, customer profiles, and tones of voice.
- Proven experience managing social media strategy for premium, visually-led brands—ideally in architecture, interior design, fashion, luxury goods, or similar.
- Experience working with or a strong understanding of Australian brands and markets is preferred.
- Solid grasp of digital marketing principles, lead funnels, and conversion strategies within social platforms.
- Excellent written English and communication skills.
- Confident using analytics tools to translate performance into actionable insights and measurable outcomes.
- Familiarity with AI-driven platforms and social automation tools (e.g. Buffer, Later, Metricool, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
- Highly results-oriented—you understand how to convert strategy into real business outcomes, not just impressions.
- Ability to effectively switch between brands, identifying and adapting to different tones, audiences, and campaign goals.
- Permanent work from home
- Immediate hiring
- Steady freelance job
