About the Role
We are seeking a Gainsight Administrator to lead the configuration, management, and optimization of our Gainsight platform. This role will support our Customer Success and Revenue teams by ensuring Gainsight is used effectively to drive engagement, improve retention, and enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer success operations and a strong understanding of CRM platforms and business process automation.
What you’ll do
Administer, configure, and maintain the Gainsight platform to support business processes and objectives.
Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions in Gainsight.
Design and optimize Playbooks, Rules, Reports, Dashboards, and Health Scores to track customer success metrics and lifecycle stages.
Integrate Gainsight with other systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, product usage tools) and manage data flows and syncs.
Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for end-users.
Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage upgrades or enhancements.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across systems.
Analyze customer data and recommend strategies to improve retention and drive customer success outcomes.
Requirements
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field
At least 2–4 years of experience as a Gainsight Administrator or in a similar Customer Success Operations/CRM Admin role
Experience configuring Gainsight, including Journey Orchestrator, Rules Engine, Success Plans, and Scorecards
Strong understanding of customer success processes and metrics
Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems
Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
Gainsight Admin certification
Familiarity with tools such as Zendesk, Snowflake, Looker, or HubSpot
Experience in SaaS or B2B customer environments
Understanding of data privacy and compliance best practices
