As a Senior Project Finance Analyst you are a key member of the Business Operations, Project Finance Team. The Senior Project Finance Analyst will provide financial support for the assigned Clinical Projects and partner with cross-functional teams to create accurate invoicing and forecasting. Maintain analyses and metrics for reporting to management. Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment using creative techniques to solve problems and address challenges raised by project teams, clients, and management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Set up all vendors and contractors in payment system including acquiring completed 1099.
  • Set up all vendors and contractors in the banking system including acquiring completed Direct Deposit form. 
  • Manage Certify and prepare expense reports for payment/invoicing twice per month. 
  • Create client specific time sheets as needed. 
  • Work with Project Manager to develop system to determine when Investigator payments are earned and ready for payment. 
  • Process payments to vendors, investigators and contractors as needed. 
  • Prepare an actual to budget monthly by activity and distribute to designated team. 
  • Work with Project Manager to determine the actual activities completed and compare to hours incurred by activity. 
  • Prepare monthly invoices or by milestone as appropriate by project. 
  • Prepare Change orders when needed. 
  • Maintain filing system for accounts payable, contractor payments and invoices. 
  • Contact contractors and clients as requested to obtain required documents. 
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the company's CFO

Position Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of educations required.

Experience:

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in operational/project finance role
  • Experience in invoicing, collections, and project analysis
  • Experience in revenue and cost recognition
  • Experience in project accounting
  • Background in Clinical Research

Required Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
