Group Human Resources Department (GHRD) provides HR services to more than tens of thousands of employees, and as our company continues to undergo remarkable growth and diversification, we continuously improve our processes and operations. You will be a Workday Integration and Extend subject matter expert, serving as the primary resource for complex integration challenges, custom application development, and extending Workday's core functionality. This role is responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support for our Integration and Extend needs. The role will also play a critical part in shaping our integration strategy, mentoring other team members, and ensuring that our integration and extension solutions are aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrations:
- Designing, building, and maintaining integrations between Workday and other systems, which may include internal and third-party systems.
- Managing the full lifecycle of Workday integrations, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Collaborating with stakeholders from HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Monitoring integration performance and resolving related issues, ensuring data integrity between systems.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for integrations.
- Ensuring integrations comply with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Staying up to date with Workday updates and industry best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
- Troubleshooting integration errors and identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinating testing strategies to ensure thorough testing of integrations for functionality, data accuracy, and performance.
Extend
- Designing, developing, and deploying custom applications using the Workday Extend platform to meet specific business needs.
- Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for Extend applications.
- Defining and executing the Workday Extend roadmap.
- Providing expert guidance on best practices for Workday Extend development.
- Maintaining existing Workday Extend applications and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Extend applications.
Mandatory Qualifications:
This position requires deep expertise in Workday Integration technologies, the Extend platform, and custom application development best practices, as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Integrations
- Proficiency in Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Web Services, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF, and Report Writer.
- Experience with various integration types and technologies, including REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and SaaS solutions.
- Experience with data mapping, workflow design, and error handling protocols.
- Experience with Workday data models, security architecture, and business process framework.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as XSLT and XML.
- Experience with at least one full life cycle Workday integration.
- Workday Integration (Pro) Certification
Extend:
- Hands-on experience with Workday Extend development.
- Understanding of Workday Extend's presentation elements, Advanced Data, and Orchestration Services.
- Experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of application development and integration best practices
