Cloud Engineer Intern
Seeking students interested in gaining practical experience in cloud infrastructure, technical project coordination, and healthcare IT.
- Position: Cloud Engineer Intern
- Duration: August 11, 2025 - April 24, 2026
- Part time, working 15 – 29 hours/week
- Remote, based in Eastern Time Zone
- Wage: $14/hour
The company is currently not authorized to support remote work employees in the following locations: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Delaware, Idaho, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Utah, Wyoming.
The student internship program accepts international students with up-to-date work authorization for off-campus employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support team to design and deploy packages, applications, and patches
- Recommends, schedules, and performs software improvements, upgrades, patches, and reconfigurations
- Utilizes working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and applications to provide technical guidance for support and implementation issues
- Assist on Identity and Access Management including AWS, Active Directory, remote access, etc.
- Support third level tickets and issues to resolution
- Document and update virtual private networking infrastructure
- Contributes to design and configuration of application interfaces including authentication and authorization technologies (e.g., OAUTH2, SAML, OIDC)
- Repair and recover from software failures; coordinate and communicate with impacted parties
- Apply OS and application patches and upgrades
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science or related field
- 1 year commitment preferred
- Experience supporting Linux and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Cloud deployment technologies (e.g., Terraform, Serverless, CDK, Helm)
- Familiarity with AWS services including RDS, EC2, EKS, EBS, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enjoy learning in a fast paced environment
- Be legally eligible to work in the US and off-campus.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools like Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, HubSpot CRM, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams.
