European Solutions Engineering Lead
Neros is hiring a European Solutions Engineering Lead to anchor their technical presence across the UK and EMEA. The role involves working with customers, delivering Neros systems, and supporting system integration and deployment. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of FPV systems, technical troubleshooting skills, and experience working in defence/military organisations.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of FPV systems—how they’re built, tuned, maintained, and flown.
- Hands-on FPV pilot or drone builder preferred.
- Technically adept with strong troubleshooting skills across mechatronics, electronics, and software.
- Clear communicator, able to translate technical complexity for non-engineers.
- Proven experience working in or with defence/military organisations is highly desirable.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Willing to travel for customer support, training, and trials (UK & EU).
- MSc in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- Exposure to UAV mechatronics—particularly FPV and tactical UAS.
- Familiarity with UK commercial UAV licensing: Holding a GVC (General Visual Line of Sight Certificate)
- Experience operating under the UK Specific Category (SORA/PDRA) framework is beneficial.
