The Opportunities: 1 Senior Payroll Officer & 1 Intermediate Payroll Officer, we have 2 vacancies due to high growth in the department!
We are looking for a motivated and well-organised Senior Payroll Consultant(s) to join our friendly Business Advisory team. You will work closely with a team of professionals who have gained experience from a range of outsourced payroll providers, Big4 & mid-tier, chartered accounting firms, and large commercial organisations. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing payroll services to our clients.
We service a range of clients across:
- -Industry (NFP, airline, mining, agricultural, & professional services)
- -Size (1 to 1,000 employees)
- -Local & International
ensuring that they comply with their regulatory and tax requirements in relation to payroll.
Your key responsibilities
- Work closely with the payroll team to process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
- Manage regulatory compliance obligations such as Payroll Tax, STP reporting, Superannuation and Salary Packaging
- Manage client relationships including attending meetings and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with ad hoc projects including new client implementations
- Continuously develop a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation so our clients remain compliant
What you need to be successful
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, providing support and assistance to other team members
- Ability to work to deadlines and have a genuine customer service first focus
- Experience using Payroll Metrics or Keypay payroll systems is preferable, but not essential
- Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products, in particular Excel
