We welcome you to join our community of faculty, students and alumni who are shaping the future of AI, Data Science and Computing.The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant.Key Responsibilities: Survey existing studies on mobile data visualization design and its interactionDevelop new techniques for the design and creation of mobile-friendly data visualizationsDevelop novel techniques for effective and convenient user interactions with data visualization on mobile devicesImplement the proposed approaches and conduct extensive evaluationsDocument writing on summarizing the research outputsJob Requirements:Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learningMinimum 1 year of relevant research experience in data visualization, human computer interaction, machine learning, data mining or data analyticsIt is preferred that the applicant is a matriculated student of another University at the point of application and has relevant research experience in data visualization, human computer interaction, machine learning, data mining or data analyticsBasic knowledge/Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python, JavaScript, D3 and HTML5 is requiredApplicants with Android/iOS app development experience and research…
