Product Information Specialist
Acting as a data steward for core product information, this role supports item setups, product lifecycle updates, and cross-functional data management requests to ensure alignment across business systems and stakeholders.
This position requires a detail-oriented, highly accountable professional with strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset, takes ownership of assigned work, and collaborates effectively across departments to support business readiness, including eCommerce, commercialization efforts, and other data-driven initiatives. A commitment to quality, consistency, and continuous process improvement is essential to success in this role.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead timely product setup activities for new launches and marketing programs, ensuring all necessary content is in place for go-to-market execution.
- Accurately maintain and update product attributes, digital content, and structured data within internal systems and customer-facing platforms.
- Receive, evaluate, and prioritize product content and attribute update requests, ensuring timely execution in alignment with business timelines.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external partners, vendors, and content service providers to ensure product information is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
- Partner with Marketing, Category Management, and Digital teams to ensure product data and digital assets meet all requirements for eCommerce listings and online merchandising.
- Review, investigate, and resolve product data discrepancies across systems, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate, synchronized records.
- Maintain visibility into content status, attribute completion rates, and SLA adherence, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to process optimization initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions that reduce turnaround times and improve accuracy.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for standard operating procedures, workflows, and recurring tasks to support knowledge transfer and team scalability.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
- An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in product information, data management, or a related business operations role (internships and co-ops considered)
- Strong execution skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities with accuracy and timeliness
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality and consistency
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and external partners
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Proficiency in Excel or similar data management tools; experience with MDM, PIM, ERP, or content management systems is a plus
- Familiarity with eCommerce content requirements and product lifecycle processes is a strong advantage
- Certifications in PIM/MDM tools, data governance, or digital content management (e.g., DAM, GS1, SQL, Agile, or related) are a plus but not required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
