As an Sorting and Packaging Associate, you will play a crucial role in the delivery process, ensuring that customer orders are prepared and loaded onto delivery vehicles accurately and efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced environment, receiving and sorting inventory, and preparing it for delivery to customers.

Duties & Responsibilities: • Sorting and categorizing items according to their size, weight, and fragility facilitates efficient packing and loading onto shipping vehicles • Take advantage of innovative tools like smartphones and hand-held devices to categorize, examine, and collate orders • It is imperative to build, encase, sort, and transfer skids and parcels • Handle and transfer lightweight packages up to 49 lbs • Receive truck deliveries • Screen prompts can be particularly helpful for users with visual or hearing impairments, as they can rely on the screen to provide clear and easy-to-understand instructions • Your shifts are made up of standing tall, walking briskly, pushing with vigor, pulling with might, squatting low, bending your knees, and reaching far • To move items with ease, consider using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear • Traverse up and down staircases (as needed) • Accomplish job responsibilities at an altitude of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine, if eligible
