Position Description: Who We Are
NIP Group www.nipgroup.com is a rapidly growing insurance service provider of specialty programs for commercial insurance brokers and carriers providing underwriting, distribution, product management, administration, and risk management services primarily by acting as a managing underwriter (MGA) and a Reciprocal Services Manager (RSM).

About the Position

We are seeking a smart, tenacious, and incredibly hard-working project manager who thrives on major challenges and high-stakes projects. Reporting directly to our Chief Information Office, our senior project manager will have the opportunity to spearhead some of our most critical projects for both technology and business transformation. In this multi-faceted role, you will leverage your expertise in business process development, project management, change management, and execution to drive results and exceed expectations.

What Youll Do

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team, responsibilities include:
• As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects. This includes acting as a subject matter expert in business analysis, collaborating with key stakeholders, liaising with relevant resource and managers across the organization, and leading project evaluation discussions.
• You will be accountable for managing the project scope, schedule, and budget, as well as project reporting, quality review, and assurance. Regularly reporting to the CIO and Executive Leadership on the performance of the portfolio, including key performance indicators, will also be a part of your role.
• As a proactive problem-solver, you will identify and manage risks and issues, ensuring all stakeholders and project team members are aware of potential risks and taking appropriate response actions to minimize their impact or likelihood of occurrence. You will create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning, overseeing all project documentation, risk/issue logs, and status reports, and ensuring that all documents are regularly updated and readily available.
• You will also be responsible for managing the change control process, including prioritization, proactively identifying changes, controlling them, and serving as a point of escalation for the project, taking corrective action and resolving issues as needed.

What Were Looking For

Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. An advanced degree such as a Master's degree in a related field is desirable but not essential.
• Proven experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading complex projects and driving change in a mid-sized or larger organization.
• Certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive informed business decisions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members, build consensus, and influence others.
• Experience in the insurance industry or a related field is a major plus but not required.
• Familiarity with data analysis, database management, and other technical skills is highly desirable.

• Project management skills: Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end, including all aspects of the business and technical components. Excellent project management skills, enjoy working hands-on, and the ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, manage budgets, and maintain a focus on quality and results.
• Business analysis skills: The ideal candidate should have strong business analysis skills, including the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
• Change management skills: An ideal candidate should possess strong change management skills, including the ability to identify and manage risks, create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Communication skills: An ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Leadership skills: The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, build consensus, and influence others.
• Technical skills: An ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in project management software, database management, and data analysis.
• Interpersonal skills: The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
