Job Description:

VocoVision is recruiting a Special Education Educator to provide online instructional services to K-12 students in Maryland. This independent contractor role for the 2024-2025 school year offers the opportunity to deliver impactful education from a remote setting.

Responsibilities: • Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) through engaging virtual lessons. • Partner with general education teachers to modify curriculum and support inclusive practices. • Utilize data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.

Position Details:
• Contract Type: Independent Contractor
• Duration: Immediate start through May 2025
• Caseload: K-12 students with varying exceptionalities

Qualifications: • Certified Special Education Teacher in Maryland • Two or more years of experience in special education, with a preference for virtual teaching experience • Competence in using virtual learning environments and assistive technologies
