Adventures by Disney, spanning two decades, offers over 40 guided-group... adventures, including land, river, and expedition cruises, with Disney-trained Adventure Guides ensuring hassle-free, immersive vacations. National Geographic Expeditions, with a 135-year legacy, provides global access through Signature Land, Expedition Cruise, River Cruise, or Private Jet options, supporting the National Geographic Society's exploration, research, and education efforts.” The Trip Manager-Land & Cruise for Adventures by Disney & National Geographic Expedition Operations will be a part of the Land and Cruise team, overseeing a designated portfolio of group programs. You will assist the Destination Manager in coordinating individual departures, supporting On-Trip Staff in destination management, and organizing trip-related documentation. Effective communication with On-Trip Staff, Guests, Contact Center Team, and suppliers, both verbally and in writing, while building and managing relationships with On-Trip Staff and suppliers is essential, alongside upholding the Company's product quality and standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments such as Trip Development, Legal, Marketing, and Finance. Some domestic and/or international travel may be required based on business demands. The Trip Manager, Trip Operations-Land & Cruise will report to the Destination Manager, Trip Operations–Land & Cruise and sits in Celebration, FL. Responsibilities: Work closely with Destination Managers and On-Trip Staff to ensure daily partnership and seamless operation of trips, including coordination with global in-country operators for bookings, logistics, and special arrangements. Communicate trip logistics and needs clearly via email, teleconferencing, and telephone, including conducting briefing calls with operators and ensuring implementation of on-the-ground logistics. Act as a proctor for On-Trip Staff trip expenses and hours worked in SAP on a weekly basis. Coach, mentor, and prepare necessary documents for On-Trip Staff, including logistic notes, transfer lists, and guest preferences. Review invoices for accuracy, provide feedback to Destination Managers, and request invoice payment in SAP. Compile and distribute accurate Guest-facing documents and create necessary spreadsheets, word documents, and presentations to increase productivity. Monitor Guest and On-Trip Staff feedback and assist with itinerary modifications and documentation. Develop job aids to complement destination operating guidelines. Participate in staffing after-hours emergency phone on a scheduled basis. Provide operations support and answer questions for internal partners, while also handling other duties as required or assigned. Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or project management, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry. Proficient in coordinating logistics and implementing plans effectively. Proactive problem-solving skills, adept at anticipating, identifying, and resolving issues. Self-motivated with a track record of efficiently managing multiple high-priority tasks in fast-paced environments. Exceptional administrative and organizational skills with consistency in meeting project deadlines with reliability. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, skilled in building partnerships and collaborating with others, effectively with partners at all levels. Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking capabilities and the ability to work autonomously on assigned projects. Experience in an office setting with a high proficiency in typing, and advanced knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and eager to master new software applications. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years experience in booking travel, travel operations & logistics, hospitality, event management or related field. Possess a valid Passport. Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required. Experience handling operational aspects of travel or high-end experiences. Proficient in SAP, Concur and QuickBase. Proficiency in multiple languages with experience working in diverse environments such as international group travel operations. Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Communication or related field or equivalent work experience.
