Job Description:
As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with various disabilities. You'll collaborate with a team of educators, parents, and specialists to ensure each student receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain IEPs for assigned students
- Deliver engaging online lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
