Overview WeÂre looking for a full time Bereavement Coordinator to join our hospice team. Remote positon, working mostly from home to support the bereavement needs of multiple hospice branches. Some travel required (20%) to branches in the following southern Indiana locations: Jeffersonville New Albany Evansville Jasper You will report directly to the Executive Director or Administrator. You will be responsible for the identifying the bereavement needs and providing the highest quality service to meet those needs. You will be providing bereavement needs to families, staff and volunteers. You will be gathering information to develop the family bereavement service needs You will maximize family access to resources including community groups, and referrals. You will provide education and training to team members, and community and contract agencies to assist in understanding the psychosocial dynamics associated with illness, loss, and death. About You High School graduate degree or equivalent required. Undergraduate degree in human service field preferred. Graduate degree preferred if providing counseling. Evidence of training in the areas of life-threatening and chronic illness, grief and loss. Clinical experience in the areas of life-threatening and chronic illness, as well as, grief and loss; One year required; three years preferred related clinical experience in varied multi-disciplinary settings. Counseling experience: individual, family and group therapy experience preferred.
