About the position
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Apple plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and maintenance of high-volume, mission-critical enterprise platforms and applications related to Apple Manufacturing and Product lifecycle. - Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tools and automations for managing Apple's full product lifecycle management ecosystem. ,
- Deploy, support, and monitor compute platforms and application stacks. ,
- Ensure the availability and performance of high-volume, mission-critical enterprise platforms and applications. ,
- Debug and root cause issues with an instinct to automate repetitive tasks. ,
- Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions. ,
- Work effectively across multiple business and technical teams to deliver results on time with high quality.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. ,
- Experience in Computer Science Fundamentals. ,
- Relevant internship experience. ,
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, processes, and best practices.
- Nice-to-haves
- Database/SQL knowledge. ,
- Java and JVM technologies runtime configurations and troubleshooting. ,
- Application design, development, API programming and improvement using Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Spring, Hibernate, object-oriented analysis and design experience. ,
