Job Overview


The Data Analyst, Enterprise Data Solutions will be responsible for developing and managing the requirements, design, and development of handling data coming from our partners in specific market channels. The ideal candidate is conscientious, with a keen attention to detail, highly analytical, with excellent communication, and ability to coordinate tasks across teams. As part of the team, the data analyst will be working towards the common goal of making sure the right data enters the system the first time and automating the analysis, matching, and reporting tasks required to achieve that. The analyst will work closely with business users to understand the customer data for the specific channel and develop approaches and plans to deliver on the requirements. They will also proactively identify opportunities to improve the end to end data processes and automate them wherever appropriate.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Gather detailed requirements from business teams on new product initiatives for specific customer channels that could impact the data processes

  • Document requirements and translate them into user stories and review with business

  • Design and develop data models to support the reporting and analytics needs of the business

  • Develop data engineering pipelines, data processing jobs, and reports to support the business needs

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather feedback, address issues, and manage ongoing support

  • Manage and execute the periodic operational data processing tasks for getting new customer data into Mitratech systems

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data quality issues

  • Maintain clear and concise communication with all project team members and stakeholders


Requirements & Skills:



  • 1-2 years of experience in a data-driven role, preferably in a business facing data analysis and data engineering role

  • Proficient in SQL, AWS Lambda, and common scripting languages (Python, R, etc.,) and ETL processes

  • Understanding of data warehousing and experience in data warehouses is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for business audiences

  • Attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work

  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics
