Description


Amazon is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Support Desk Agent to provide top-notch technical support to our internal and external clients. As a Support Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing IT issues, ensuring their problems are resolved quickly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical aptitude, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.


Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues

  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to manage stressful situations calmly and effectively


Responsibilities



  • Provide first-level support for IT issues via phone, email, and chat

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems

  • Document all support interactions in the ticketing system

  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed

  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services

  • Assist in training new team members
