Tax Preparer & Bookkeeper/Accountant - Remote | WFH
Are you a detail-oriented and dedicated tax accountant looking for a rewarding opportunity? We're seeking a full-time Tax Accountant to join our team and contribute to our dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities...
Prepare individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks with precision.
Utilize Lacerte and QuickBooks for tax preparation and bookkeeping.
Leverage your intermediate to advanced Excel skills for various accounting tasks.
Maintain high levels of organization and accuracy in your work.
Take thorough notes and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
Collaborate with team members and work independently to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Exhibit a high level of integrity and reliability in all tasks.
Qualifications
2-5 years of tax preparation experience, including familiarity with Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
2-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Proficiency in Lacerte and QuickBooks.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
Experience in payroll is a plus.
CPA or EA certification is a plus but not required.
Highly organized, punctual, and willing to work extra hours when needed.
Inquisitive and quick to learn new skills.
Strong team player with the ability to work well both individually and in group settings.

Compensation
Annual salary of $58,000 to $68,000, plus performance bonus.
Work Schedule
Full-time, with expected hours of no less than 40 per week.
Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
Location:
San Diego, CA 92131. Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
Remote work options may be available based on need.
