Chat support services might include:
? Assist with customer complaints and questions about specific products or services
? Modify and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels
?... Respond promptly to customers? inquiries, requests, orders, or applications
? Be the first point of contact and advocate for customers
? Handle a high volume of customer support requests via email, phone, and chat using empathy to answer questions and troubleshoot problems
Requirements to become a freelance chat support specialist on Upwork:
? Must be over the age of 18 with an internet connection
? No prior experience is required but prior experience is preferred
Preferred skills for freelance chat support specialists
? Articulate, personable, and reliable with great writing skills and email etiquette
? 1 year of chat support experience preferred
? CRM/support tool experience a plus
